The good influence of godly citizens causes a city to prosper… Proverbs 11:11 (Living Bible)

In 2009, an initiative was launched called Intentional Influence, a Christ-centered movement whose goal is to match faith driven organizations with emerging Christian leaders wanting to serve in our community. The process includes three steps.  First, individuals attend an orientation where they are given tools and training in best practices to prepare them for effective nonprofit board membership. Second, organizations are taught how to strategically recruit and seamlessly integrate new leaders. Finally, individuals and organizations are united by utilizing a fast paced interviewing process that allows them to exchange information and determine compatibility. This has been a great success!

“We never would have had the level of exposure to such an overwhelmingly great group of professionals at such a pivotal time for them.”

“We’d struggled for years with only a few sporadic and disengaged board members…we recruited one new committee member and two new board members!”

“We have gotten two amazing board members from prior events…and have seen this as an extremely
valuable resource to our board!”

“We have had several promising conversations with potential board members and given two tours to some amazing people since Match Night. We look forward to developing these relationships.”

“The program was well thought out and progressed smoothly through the evening. I was blessed to meet new people and several potential board members.”
